PAW3395 Sensor Board
$22.50This is a prototype V1 design! I've validated for a couple of weeks and everything seems working but I have a couple improvements I need to get pushed. Photos and design will be updated once I make these changes.
A fully assembled, tested PAW3395 trackball sensor board. The PixArt PAW3395 is one of the best sensors on the market right now, tracking up to 26,000 CPI and 650 IPS.
It's built on the same board design as my PMW3389, so it fits the same mounts. Made for the Skree Pawpaw and Cosmos wireless Lemon builds, or your own design.
- ZMK: works now with badjeff's ZMK driver.
- QMK: I'm finishing a compiled driver, coming shortly.
Includes: a plug-and-play kit: 1 sensor board, 1 lens and 1 cable (dual-sided JST-SH cable, or flexible ribbon cable for VIK, depending on the version you pick).
Design and pinout files: github.com/SkreeCustomKeyboards/PAW3395-Board
PixArt keeps the PAW3395's register tables under NDA, so I can't publish what you'd need to write your own driver. PixArt is easy to contact if you want to go that route.
Sensor circuit from badjeff/paw3395-pcb, rebuilt for Skree connectors and board design. Thanks to badjeff. License: CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2, Permissive.
